This is Ginger.  Bold, striking, and sassy.

This is Ethel.  She thinks Ginger gets too much attention.  She's probably right.

Ginger's favorite thing is a piece of sparkly star-wrapped wire, all wound up 

and tossed across the room for her to chase and then gnaw on.

Photographing living things is my best and my favorite :)  People come first, of course, but after that animals and nature are the most enjoyable to capture.  

All these different subjects inspire me to praise and adore our Maker!

All creatures of our God and King

Lift up your voice and with us sing,

of cats and flowers

Last month, I took a road trip to visit my sister Janna.  We had a positively marvelous time together, talking, laughing, making and eating amazing food, playing with her two kittens, and walking around town.  Unfortunately, I was too busy sharing her sense of humor to take pictures of Janna, but came home with some stellar shots of Ethel and Ginger.  

They took an instant shine to me...

And to our farmer's market flowers...
